Our Story

Ora Delphine was born of a simple philosophy: to create beautiful, functional handbags with love and care. Our founder, Rebecca Lin, grew up around the craftsmanship of her seamstress mother in the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles, spending her summers helping out in the factories and studying the detail she put into every garment. Though Rebecca went into marketing after college, the desire to do something creative lead her back to her fashion roots and Ora Delphine was born.

“I love how handbags bring such a universal joy to all different types of women. It inspires us to create beautiful, classic pieces that fit any lifestyle and stand the test of time and taste.” –Rebecca Lin, Ora Delphine founder

Ora Delphine handbags blend classic designs with a modern twist to create beautiful, high quality pieces that embody the effortless spirit of Southern California. Our unique aesthetic is influenced by our surroundings, from the bright lights of the energetic city to the dusky dreamland of each evening’s sunset. In a place like this, it’s hard not to be inspired.

Every piece we make is designed in Los Angeles and made from handpicked, full-grain genuine leather, as its beauty and style only get better with age. The materials for each bag are hand cut by skilled workers who then sew and hand paint the leather edges with a precise attention to detail. It’s this attention to detail that we pride ourselves on. No matter which outfit you may be wearing, our timeless styles are designed to elevate it, adding depth and luxury for a purely polished look. We believe every bag should be as beautiful as it is functional, a perfect combination of form and fashion that you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again.

Ora Delphine designs have been featured in top fashion and lifestyle publications including InStyle, Parade, and Cosmopolitan, and have been spotted on celebs such as Empire’s Gabourey Sidibe, Dancing With The Stars pro dancer Allison Holker, and ABC’s “Fresh Off The Boat” star Luna Blaise.
